How much does it cost?
About $250 for the first 2 hours, then $110 an hour for face painting;
For balloon twisting, about $300 for the first 2 hours, then $135 per hour for balloon twisting. See my rates here.
How long should I book for?
Private parties: I recommend 1 hour for every 10-12 faces, but I’m flexible. I spend as long as necessary on each child’s face to make sure they get something special.
Large events: we have speed menus for fast-paced events with big crowds. We have teams of artists that can adapt to the circumstances. Just get in touch and we’ll arrange a package that works for you.
The minimum booking is 2 hours. If you choose the combo of face painting and balloon twisting, you’ll need a longer booking.
Is there a travel charge?
No charge if you live within 25 minutes drive from Rochedale South, then $10 for each 10 minutes travelled.
What about covid?
Extremely Face Painting is a COVID aware business. All our artists are fully vaccinated and certified in COVID-19 infection control. We use covid-safe techniques to paint faces, using one sponge/brush per paint load and practising a vigorous brush cleaning/sanitising system. It takes a little longer to paint each face but we’re serious about keeping our community safe.
Do you do games and other entertainment too?
Not usually, but I can recommend some great performers who do.
What events are you available for?
Birthday parties, Christmas parties, weddings, childcare open days, kindy fetes, school fetes, street festivals, Halloween parties, sports events, team break up parties, club family days, corporate events, individual face painting / body painting and pregnant belly painting.
Do you have other costumes?
You can choose between Mermaid, Princess, Forest Fairy or Wonder Woman. Or just tell me your theme and I’ll come in something suitable.
What do I need to provide?
I can provide everything, you just arrange a shaded area for me to set up please. If there’s stairs, please let me know. If you’d prefer me to use the furniture there, that’s fine too. I use a regular height table and chair. If you have preschoolers, please provide a small step to help them climb up onto the face painting stool or someone can lift them.
How safe are your paints?
I use only top quality professional cosmetic-grade paints: they are FDA approved, skin-safe and hypoallergenic.
Do you have insurance and a blue card?
Absolutely! I have Public Liability insurance and a blue card (working with children check).
